POPBRAND
Brands aren’t born overnight — they’re built. With 20+ years of experience, we’ve helped some of New Zealand’s biggest retailers rebrand, refresh, and rediscover their voice. From bold overhauls to subtle shifts, we make brands feel new, relevant, and ready to pop.
Farmers
Our team worked on a huge variety of POS for Farmers, from POS and mailers to TV and radio adverts. But the 2 standout pieces were the 'brand refreshes' of their two biggest sales events, the 'Red Dot Sale' and the 'Toy Sale'. The client wasn't over the moon with the current look and feel of either event, and as a result, they were changing the look regularly. However, the current look Farmers are using is what we created for them approximately 15 years ago. We made the Red Dot look and feel in 2010 and the Toy Sale in 2011 and both looks are still going strong today.
The Warehouse mailers brand refresh
We were challenged to give the mailer a brand refresh, the client wanted more glamour and less 'retail' and price points. We presented a look and feel for a series of mailers and, once approved by the main shareholders and buyers, we worked with the in-house photography team and mailer team to create the below look and feel for a small collection of mailers.
Super Liquor Brand Refresh
We've been lucky enough to work on Super Liquor twice, below is a look we created based on a brief to create a red and blue look that combines one or 2 products with black & white stock imagery. The products, for the first campaign, we had to work with were a Stella 12 pack & Mac’s Gold 15 pack, and after pitching the below robot idea, client said ‘This is the benchmark we use for this campaign from now on.'
Super Liquor Rebrand
Our second stint on Super Liquor was just after their agency had successfully pitched a rebrand for them. This time around the look and feel was more polished with all the concepts based around 3 characters, a mandrill, a buck, and a giraffe (we added a 4th for Christmas, a foxy fox). The work below is a selection of how we brought the rebrand to life (retail bosters, brand posters, and a Facebook 2015 Christmas countdown).
